BPI Building Analyst Training

 

Building Analyst is BPI’s entry level certification for becoming an energy auditor or accredited trade professional. Green Collar Crew (GCC) is committed to helping you pass the required written and field examinations in your first attempt. Whether transitioning into a new career or preparing yourself for the credentials needed for energy efficiency and weatherization assistance programs such as HOME STAR, our Building Analyst course will equip you with everything you need to know.

IMPORTANT: Field Exams are administered one-on-one with the course instructor and are scheduled in the order you registered. Those who register first will be scheduled for Friday afternoon while later registrations may be scheduled for Saturday morning. Classes are Monday – Friday and begin at 8am with a 45 minute lunch break unless otherwise noted.

Day 2 Tuesday: Classroom Instruction

Day 3 Wednesday: Field Training

Day 4 Thursday AM: Review & Written Exam

Day 5 Friday PM: Field Exams

Day 6 Saturday: Field Exams Overflow (if applicable)

 

The cost of the training course and all included materials is $1,295 if you register by the Monday one week prior to the start of the course (the cost then becomes $1,395).

 

REMEMBER! Avoid having a Saturday Field Exam by registering early!

 

 

Participating in this package course adds only 1 additional day to your training (as opposed to the full 2 to 3 day Envelope course) and saves you $195 on the price of the courses individually. This way you can knock out both programs in one week! Click here for details

If emailing or leaving a message, please provide your name, phone number and email, as well as the course name, location and date. We will soon be adding online payment to this website.

 

 

Our courses include study guide, sample written questions and field worksheets. During your course, we will provide, demonstrate and instruct you on all the necessary tools and materials for certification including: automatic blower doors, static pressure test kits, combustion analyzers, moisture meters, IR thermometers, and gas leak detectors. If appropriate, we can then recommend to you resources where you can purchase your own equipment.

 

 

A basic calculator and Windows-based (no Macs) computer on written exam day.

 

 

If after successfully completing our course you are unable to pass the corresponding exam, you will be afforded the opportunity to repeat the course and no cost. You will however be responsible for any additional exam fees associated with retaking the test.

 

 

Course registration can be cancelled up to two weeks prior to the start date with a full refund.  Failure to attend the course without prior cancellation will receive no refund. You have the option to reschedule for a course at a later date for a $100 transfer fee but no refund will be issued for rescheduled courses. Substitute participants are allowed with prior notice.

 

Field tests are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact us if you need to reschedule your field test and we’ll make our best effort to accommodate.
