Home Energy & Health Consultation

Entry level investigation and consultation.

 

While GCC recommends our Comprehensive Home Energy & Health Audit, we recognize some clients may only require our support for a specific situation or are seeking only more general recommendations.

 

Services Included:  Home energy and health visual inspection of your home including crawl space, attic, heating & cooling equipment and water heater.  Your Home Performance Auditor will provide you with an onsite report including general and situation specific recommendations for energy and health improvements.

All Homes:    $150/consultation + regional fee if applicable

Comprehensive Home Energy & Health Audit

The most complete and advanced Audit available.

Services Included:  Level I services plus a full series of building science inspection and diagnostic testing utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to assess your home's performance such as energy use, air infiltration, insulation levels, thermal imaging, water heating and usage, duct leakage and installation, heating and cooling efficiency, room pressures and carbon monoxide.  Your Home Performance Auditor will provide you with a comprehensive detailed onsite report including energy and health upgrade opportunities and financial estimates specifically tailored to your home and priorities. 

Homes to 2500 sfha*					$395 + regional fee if applicable
Homes 2501-3500					$425 + regional fee if applicable
Homes 3501-5000					$450 + regional fee if applicable
Homes over 5000 sfha					$475 + regional fee if applicable + $125/hour beyond 3 hours

*sfha = square footage of heated area

Heating & Cooling Equipment Performance Testing							$25.00/system  beyond 2 systems

GCC has recruited the best independent and true third party Home Performance Auditors in our service regions.  Each Auditor Partner has completed our training program, are certified by nationally-recognized Building Performance Institute (BPI) for High Performance Homes and Healthy Living, are skilled in HVAC diagnostics and continue with and contribute to ongoing building science training to remain current on technical advances in home performance.
